Beard Transplantation

Beard transplantation is a surgical procedure used to provide a denser and more aesthetically attractive beard appearance to men suffering from sparse beard area, bald areas or irregular beard growth. This procedure is performed similar to hair transplantation methods, but hair follicles are transplanted to the beard area.

Consultation: Before the procedure, a consultation is held with our hair transplant specialist. During this consultation, the person's targeted beard shape and density are determined and surgical planning is made.
Local Anesthesia: Local anesthesia is applied to ensure patient comfort and painlessness during the procedure.
Selection of Beard Loss Areas: The beard area where hair transplantation will be performed is determined. These areas are generally filled with hair follicles taken from the hairy areas.
Extraction of Hair Follicles: Hair follicles are usually removed using the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method. During this process, individual hair follicles are carefully removed.
Transplantation to the Beard Area: The extracted hair follicles are transplanted to the beard area individually or in small groups. The transplanted hair follicles are placed to form new beard hairs.
Healing Process: After the procedure, the patient's beard transplantation area begins to heal. Scabs may form and redness may appear in the first few days. However, the healing process is usually quick.
Results: Beard transplantation results may vary from person to person, but it is generally seen that new beard hairs grow and the desired appearance is achieved within a few months.
